MOVIES THE NEWEST STAR WARS CREATURE IS CUTE — BUT IS IT AS CUTE AS THESE OTHER CUTE THINGS?

I fell in love the moment I SAW it. When that little alien moved its little head and stared up at me — and thousands of other star wars fans at D23 Expo last month — with its big, round eyes, I lost it. It's the same feeling of overwhelming joy that I felt when BB-8 first rolled into my life with a "beep-boop" and a thumbs up. It's soooooo cute.
But I digress. Porgs are the cutest things I have ever seen with my own two eyes. (Sorry, BB-8.) They are so cute and squishy, I just want to snuggle with one. Or five. Or a dozen. Is it possible to retire early and become a porg lady? Even their razor-sharp, cat-like teeth are cute! And so, so tiny!!! I'm obsessed.
So, in honor of my newfound obsession, let's see how the porg's overall cuteness compares to these other adorable things.

Alessia Cara left the  VMAs   this past weekend with some serious hardware, taking home her first two Moon Person trophies ever. Not only did the singer win Best Dance for her and Zedd’s “Stay,” but she was also one of five winners in the newly revamped  Best Fighting Against System   category, which honors music videos with timely social messages. Cara spoke about the latter award with MTV News correspondent Gaby Wilson, saying, “I think it was such an amazing thing that they gave it to everybody, because I feel like everybody who speaks their truth... deserves to be recognized. HARRY STYLES BRINGS US INTO THE STUDIO FOR THIS PERFORMANCE OF 'TWO GHOSTS'

It's crazy to watch this extremely chill rendition of " Two Ghosts " and remember that   Harry Styles literally screamed   when he was asked about the lady he sings about on the track. But yeah: This  Behind the Album  clip of the song off his  self-titled debut  is easy on both the eyes  and the ears, and it's enough to distract you from the rumor mill a-churnin' thanks to the mention of an old (and potentially famous) love's "same lips red, same eyes blue."

MAISIE WILLIAMS AND GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE LOVED THEIR GAME OF THRONES SWORD FIGHT AS MUCH AS YOU DID

It may be one of the most intense series every to hit the small screen, but Game of Thornes  has its uplifting moments — and one of the best occurred in last week's episode, "The Spoils of War," when Arya ( Maisie Williams ) squared off against the mighty Brienne of Tarth ( Gwendoline Christie ) in an impromptu, friendly sword fight. And as fun as it was for us to watch, it was "great fun" for the actresses to shoot the scene — even if their, uh, differences made for a unique challenge that neither of them had faced while shooting a  GoT swordplay sequence before. In an interview with  Entertainment Weekly , Williams and Christie recount the scene and how they prepared for it, or, specifically, how they dealt with the fact that they were fighting a foe that was either over a foot taller or over a foot shorter than them.
