THESE YOUNG ANIMATORS MADE THE LGBT ANIMATED SHORT THAT'S MELTING HEARTS EVERYWHERE

Over the past 24 hours, the sweet story of in heartbeat has set hearts around the world aflutter. The animated short, directed by Beth David and Esteban Bravo at the Ringling College of Art and Design, hit the internet on Monday (July 31), and it's already inspired countless pieces of fan art and impassioned appealsfor a follow-up feature.
David and Bravo call the overwhelming response to their short film "mind-blowing." Speaking to MTV News, David said she couldn't believe how many people had seen it already. (The film has already racked up over 2.6 million views and counting.) "There's fan art, and people are cosplaying it," David said. "They're sending us GIFs and edits. That's crazy! We're blown away, and it's so exciting."

But yeah: This  Behind the Album  clip of the song off his  self-titled debut  is easy on both the eyes  and the ears, and it's enough to distract you from the rumor mill a-churnin' thanks to the mention of an old (and potentially famous) love's "same lips red, same eyes blue."

MAISIE WILLIAMS AND GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE LOVED THEIR GAME OF THRONES SWORD FIGHT AS MUCH AS YOU DID

It may be one of the most intense series every to hit the small screen, but Game of Thornes  has its uplifting moments — and one of the best occurred in last week's episode, "The Spoils of War," when Arya ( Maisie Williams ) squared off against the mighty Brienne of Tarth ( Gwendoline Christie ) in an impromptu, friendly sword fight. And as fun as it was for us to watch, it was "great fun" for the actresses to shoot the scene — even if their, uh, differences made for a unique challenge that neither of them had faced while shooting a  GoT swordplay sequence before. In an interview with  Entertainment Weekly , Williams and Christie recount the scene and how they prepared for it, or, specifically, how they dealt with the fact that they were fighting a foe that was either over a foot taller or over a foot shorter than them.
